NF Picnic - West Michigan
July 28, 2013 - Annual NF Picnic and Raffle - Join us for
everyone's favorite social gathering on Sunday, July 28th, at Johnson
Park at Wilson & Butterworth in Walker (a western suburb of Grand Rapids). We'll be there from 1-5pm. Great family fun!

PICNIC TIME!: Please join us once again for everybody’s favorite
NF social event. We’ll be at Johnson Park on Sunday, July 28th starting
at 1pm. Look for our Welcome Table, where we give special attention to first-timers.

Johnson Park
offers an attractive setting just west of Grand Rapids and close to
major highways. Parking and amenities are convenient, and the shelter
protects us from both sun and rain. Directions can be found by clicking
through to the Johnson Park website. Regardless of the weather, we’ll be in the Open Shelter.
FOOD: We provide the hot dogs and buns, water bottles and juice boxes. You’re invited to bring a dish to share, but you’re welcome with or without. If you prefer pop, please bring your own. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the park.
ACTIVITIES: Tons of fun for the kiddos – Bouncy Castle, sprinkler hose, face-painting, candy scramble and more! Goody bags for all kids. Note that professional staff monitor the Bouncy Castle, separating the bigger kids from the small fry and ensuring everyone’s safety. Little ones might like to bring a swimsuit and sunscreen. The restrooms are convenient. Expect it to be hot.
DJ: Our top-of-the-line DJs, Me & Mrs Jones, provide the background music and quality sound system for announcements and raffle.
T-SHIRTS AND CAPS: A nice selection of t-shirts are available for $7 (kids) and $8 (adult sizes). Besides the classic green tees, there are blue tees with a green NF, including toddler sizes. We are introducing our new MiNF shirts in navy and gray (adult sizes). NF caps, pencils, pins, silly bands and logo stickers (new!) also for sale.
RAFFLE DONATIONS: Your assistance in donating raffle prizes is deeply appreciated. We need gifts and gift certificates valued at $5 and up..and more up! Do you know someone who works at or owns a restaurant, beauty salon, shop or service station? Hit them up! They OWE you! Bring prizes with you to the picnic. We can provide receipts for tax purpose by email in advance or at the picnic. Can't make it on the day? Email nfwestmich@aol.com to arrange for pick-up. THANK YOU!!
DRIVING DIRECTIONS: Take I-196 to the Grandville exit, exit 70 from the north, exit 70B from the south. Turn right on 28th St, which becomes Wilson almost immediately. Cross the Grand River and turn right at the first light, Butterworth Drive. Park immediately past the ball fields on your left.
